If you’re a member of Online Watch Link you might have spotted an alert to a scam. It texts people saying they are eligible to apply for the vaccine and to click on the link in the text message. The link goes to a very legitimate-looking website where it asks them to complete some details, in order for them to be able to apply for the vaccine. The text asks for different personal details including date of birth and card payment details.
Please spread the word that this is not a valid text to patients; the NHS will never contact them for these kinds of details, and the vaccine is free.
