Social Connection and Internet Access Survey - Action Plan
We are delighted that 16% of our residents in The Hadhams, The Pelhams, The Hamlets and Albury took part in our social connection and internet access survey with 53 of the 290 participants asking for support with their digital technology needs to help them manage more easily alongside Covid restrictions.

Top of our residents' list of concerns is Scams, security and cost. And top of their wishlists for help is video calls to connect with NHS appts/friends and family, help with ordering food and medicines online, accessing other services, entertainment and exercise classes. Also many would like to tailor their digital tablets to their needs or improve their broadband connection.

During November we will be contacting via email or phone, all those who have asked for help via this survey to find out how they can be best supported up to Christmas and beyond with the digital technology.

We will begin by sending them some information with links to very useful information about Scams etc and we will then organise one to one telephone support until it is safe to run regular workshops in our Hadhams’ village halls, probably from the new year onwards. Please get in touch with Claire on 07595 674241 if you would like to be added to our support list.
